Meet Dr. Jairo Montoya

Dr. Jairo Montoya is a highly trained Pediatric Dentist who is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He grew up in Colombia, where he graduated from Dental school in 2016. He then moved to the States, where he attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine to complete his specialty in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. J is happy to call the DFW area his home now; with his new office opening in your neighborhood. Dr. J. continues to navigate and further his education in the ever-changing world of Pediatric Dentistry so that your children have the latest state-of-the-art care and experience.

Dr. J is certified in Oral Sedation, Laser Dentistry, Tongue Tie, and minimally invasive caries treatments. Dr. J believes in the prevention and early intervention of oral disease, tethered oral tissues, and keeping high-quality care in a professional, compassionate, and safe manner.

Dr. J is also fluent in English and Spanish!

Sylvia – Pediatric Office Manager

Sylvia brings over 25 years of experience in dentistry, with most of her career dedicated to practice management and leadership. Her extensive knowledge, strong leadership skills, and deep expertise make her an invaluable asset to our team. She is passionate about patient care and is committed to ensuring everyone has a positive, comfortable dental experience from start to finish.

As a mentor and leader, Sylvia takes pride in guiding and developing her team, fostering growth and confidence while encouraging future leaders within the practice. Her supportive and hands-on approach creates a positive and efficient work environment.

In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending quality time with her husband, J.C., and their little dog, Charlie. She has a passion for travel and loves staying active through hiking, camping, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures.

Jaymi – Treatment/ Surgical Coordinator

Jaymi has been with Aviator Pediatric Dentistry since its founding, bringing a strong background in the medical field that has made her transition into dentistry seamless and highly valuable to the team. Her experience and dedication have positioned her as a key asset within the practice.

In her role as a treatment coordinator, Jaymi takes pride in working closely with patients and families, guiding them through their treatment plans and ensuring they understand and follow the necessary steps to achieve their dental health goals. Her supportive and detail-oriented approach helps create a positive and organized patient experience.

Outside of the office, Jaymi is a devoted parent to her amazing teen son, Stephen. Together, they enjoy spending quality time with their little dog, Apollo, and making the most of their family moments.

Janie – Patient/Scheduling Coordinator

Janie has spent most of her life in dentistry, gaining extensive experience across many areas of the field, with a strong emphasis on pediatric dentistry. As part of our front-line team, she especially enjoys working with children and takes pride in helping both young patients and their parents feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for from the moment they arrive. Outside of work, Janie values time with her family, including her siblings and grandchildren. She enjoys staying connected with her loved ones and making the most of her time with them.

Kevin – Lead Registered Dental Assistant

Kevin has been a valued member of Aviator Pediatric Dentistry since its inception, bringing over 15 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant. Known for his exceptional ability to connect with children, Kevin has earned the nickname “child whisperer” for his calm, reassuring approach that helps young patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys spending quality time with his three children: Aydree, Mateo and Abigail. He actively coaches them in baseball, football, and martial arts.

Giorgia – Registered Dental Assistant

Giorgia is a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant with three years of experience in the dental field. Since joining Aviator Pediatric Dentistry, she has quickly become an integral part of the team, known for her sweet and gentle demeanor. Giorgia’s exceptional bedside manner creates a comforting, positive experience for every child. Outside of the office, Giorgia enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend and their French Bulldog, Bruno.

Noemi – Registered Dental Assistant

Noemi is a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant with over three years of experience in pediatric dentistry. She joined Aviator Pediatric Dentistry in 2026 and is a hardworking, reliable team member who takes great pride in delivering exceptional customer care. Outside of the office, Noemi enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three children.

Suleyma – Registered Dental Assistant

Suleyma is a valued Registered Dental Assistant at Aviator Pediatric Dentistry, bringing 7 years of dental experience with a strong focus on pediatric care. Her dedication and reliability make her an essential part of the team. Outside of the office, Suleyma enjoys traveling, exploring new foods, working out, and golfing.
